POSTHUMAN’S COOKBOOK

Post-human’s cookbook is a machine comprising a collection of cooking recipes. Viewers have the ability to cook their dinner according to their own appetite. The normal food is translated into algorithmic values and the meal is served to the diner in an audio-visual format.

Throughout the installation a transformation of the senses is experienced and conceptualized. The work of the senses has been re-wired, opening new perceptual and descriptive possibilities.  The perceptual activity of a single sense may well be translated into that of another, giving way to synaesthetic experience.

Project in collaboration with Gareth Foote.
