Penumbra is an interactive installation that comments on the frame of presence juxtaposing perceptions of space and time, memory and representation. Throughout this installation a perceptual displacement is experienced and conceptualised. The sensory affectivity of the temporal experience is recorded, spatialised and juxtaposed. S ensory interiors and exteriors constantly entangle, consistently playing with the notion of the ‘Invisible’ aiming at the creation of personal significance. The project reveals the extent to which the vision and the bodily understanding of the space are intertwined with memory, narrative and culture.
